Abstract

General accounting records and some letter books mainly for the period 1814-1900. Includes accounts of Thomas B. Wales and Company, 1811-1860; Stanton and Nichols, 1811-1863; India Wharf, 1833-1880; Kennebec Steam Navigation Company, 1826-1828; and Merchants Steam Lighter Company, 1897-1901. The accounts include manifests of cargoes in and out, storage accounts, dockage charges and freight.
